Friendly with Boavista this Friday - 24 March 2009 |
Benfica will play Boavista at the Estádio do Bessa this Friday on 27th March in a friendly.
The game has been arranged to show support to the historic club Boavista who were relegated last season in the corruption scandal, whilst neighbours FC Porto escaped without any meaningful sanctions.
The match will kick-off at 20:30 GMT and tickets will be available on the day at the stadium or at PT/TMN stores in the city.
Quique will probably use this match to continue the momentum of his team before the Liga clash against Estrela de Amadora in early April. Most of his players are away on International duty, but none of the Portuguese nationals at Benfica have been called by Carlos Queiros to face Sweden at the weekend.
