Slovenian keeper Jan Oblak likely to start his first league game for Benfica as goalkeeper Artur misses out due to injury.

Cardozo remains sidelined whilst André Gomes, André Almeida and Ola John have been left out.

Enzo Pérez returns after serving a one-match suspension whilst Markovic and Ruben Amorim have recovered from injuries.

Benfica enter the Europa League draw - 15 December 2013

After finishing in third place in Group C of the Champions League, Benfica have a second chance at a European trophy as they drop down to the Europa League.

The Last 32 and 16 draw is made tomorrow in Nyon, Switzerland, and is set to commence at 12:00 GMT where the Lisbon side is seeded. The ties are set to be played on 20 / 27 February and 13 / 20 March respectively.

The possible opponents Benfica could face in the next round are listed below. Facing FC Porto would only be a possibility in the Last 16 should Benfica make it through.

The highlight of this week's squad list is that Paraguayan striker Cardozo has missed his second consecutive game due to injury.

Jesus decided to call up 22 players to travel to Brussels for tomorrow's Champions League encounter against Belgian champions Anderlecht.

Siqueira has also been left behind because of injury and joins team mates Salvio and Ruben Amorim on the doctor's list.
