Benfica player Luisão has been selected on the initial squad list for Brazil by manager Mano Menezes.
Brazil will be taking part in the Copa América which is being hosted by Argentina this July, and the defender makes up the 28 player list where he could be selected to play friendlies against Holland (4th June) and Romania (7th June).
Luisão will only find out if he has made the squad for the important South American competition after both friendly games are over.
