Éder Luís transfer confirmed - 29 December 2009 |
Atlético Mineiro have confirmed the sale for their striker Éder Luís to Benfica on their official website.
The Brazilian club will receive €2m for the 50% of the players' rights which they own. Éder has signed his resignation papers and will be traveling to Lisbon where he will undergo medical tests before Benfica officially confirm the deal.
With Atlético Mineiro, the 24-year old striker played 161 games in all competitions, scoring 43 goals, of which 22 were in season 2009.
Éder is Benfica's third signing for the January 2010 transfer window, both others - Airton and Kardec - trained this evening at the orders of Jorge Jesus in Seixal.
