Portugal national manager Paulo Bento announced today his 23-man squad for the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship jointly hosted by Poland and Ukraine.
Benfica striker Nélson Oliveira has made the final cut alongside midfielder Carlos Martins who spent season 2011/12 loaned out with Spanish side Granada FC. The young forward featured in Jorge Jesus' senior side this season with three goals to his name: one in the Champions League and two in the League Cup.
Goalkeeper Eduardo, who joined Benfica on a season-long loan deal from Genoa, is one of three keepers selected for the competition taking place between 8th June and 1st July 2012.
Portugal play Germany (9 June), Denmark (13 June) and Holland (17 June) in Group B.
