Twenty-two players have traveled to Germany this evening where they will face Fortuna Düsseldorf in the final friendly of pre-season 2012/13 on Saturday.
Benfica's competitive season begins with a Liga game against Braga next week which leaves manager Jorge Jesus with this final game for preparation. New signing Salvio has been included in the squad list.
Spanish under-21 international forward Rodrigo also joins his teammates for the first time this season after returning from Olympic duty. Uruguayan striker, rumoured to have joined River Plate on a loan deal, has been excluded.
Despite being reported fit, Argentine playmaker Pablo Aimar has stayed in Lisbon.

Midfielders: Witsel, Carlos Martins, Salvio, Nolito, Bruno César, Matic, Javi García, Enzo Pérez and Ola John
Forwards: Saviola, Cardozo, Rodrigo Machado and Kardec
