| Players receive training instructions during break - 23 December 2012 |
Benfica's medical department have given training instructions for some players during the winter holidays.
Luisão, Pablo Aimar, Carlos Martins and Miguel Vítor are some of those who will need to keep an eye on their fitness as the senior squad departed for their annual Christmas and New Year holidays.
The Argentine midfielder is hoping to make a comeback in 2013 after spending most of the first part of the season sidelined with muscle problems. Benfica's «number 10» is gradually recovering and has already begun training on the pitch with his colleagues.
Benfica's next game is away to Moreirense in the League Cup on December 30th at 16:00 GMT.
