SL Benfica x Celtic FC Squad List - 23 October 2007 |
Benfica had their last training session this morning before Wednesday's game against Scottish champions Celtic.
Goalkeeper Hans-Jörg Butt was the main feature as he trained alongside the squad without any limitations., whilst Nuno Gomes and David Luíz began working with the ball.
In relation to the previous game (Carlsberg Cup quarters against V. Setúbal) Rui Costa and South Americans Maxi and Rodriguez return to Camacho's list. Edcarlos has recovered from his injury and is also available.
The 19 players called up:
Goalkeepers: Quim and Butt
Defenders: Luís Filipe, Léo, Luisão, Edcarlos, Miguel Vítor and Zoro
Midfielders: Katsouranis, Romeu Ribeiro, Maxi Pereira, Bynia, Rodriguez, Di María, Nuno Assis, Freddy Adu and Rui Costa
Forwards: Cardozo and Bergessio.
