Urreta moves to Guimarães for a season - 31 August 2011

Jonathan Urretaviscaya has been loaned out by Benfica to Vitória de Guimarães on a season long deal.

The Uruguayan winger does not come into the manager's plans and Benfica have allowed a loan move to the northern club who are currently at the foot of the Liga Zon Sagres table.

Urreta has still put pen to paper to a new contract extension keeping him linked to the Lisbon club until June 2015.

This will be the youngster's 4th loan spell while at Benfica, having represented home club Peñarol on two occasions and La Liga side Deportivo La Coruña previously.

Guimarães have brought in new coach Rui Vitória after Manuel Machado walked out after the Europa League exit in the hands of Atlético de Madrid.
