Tickets

This page will give you an insight on how to obtain tickets for Benfica matches and the most frequent asked questions.

When do tickets for a match go on sale?
For domestic competitions and Eurppean games at home, tickets normally go on sale 2 or 3 weeks before the kick-off date. European away games vary because tickets are sent from the host club and have to be purchased from the stadium ticket office.

Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased at the Megastore, through the phone or online here. You can also post your query on the forum because there could be other options.

Should I buy tickets early?
Generally the stadium never sells out, so you are sure to get a ticket on the day of the match, although a day before is recommended to avoid any queues. Please note that if you purchase tickets on match day, the price is increased by €2 per ticket.

Exceptions occur for games against rivals Sporting and Porto, where if you are not a member you will have to wait for a couple of days before the game to purchase your ticket, if any are available. The same applies to latter rounds of European competitions.

If you wish to seat in a specific area, then get your ticket at least a week or two before. Although some seats are already reserved for season ticket holders (see below for more information on season passes).

Which season ticket do I go for?
From the 2009/10 season, season tickets have been given the premium name of 'Red Pass'. There are different versions of season tickets so choose one which suits you best.
